Trekking In Island Peak Region

The Island Peak Trek is for people who have had previous walking experience, such as winter walking in Scotland, using ice axe and crampons. For people that are doing the Island Peak trek, we will have a day of training in the basic techniques that you will need, as part of the itinerary while on trek. After returning from Kala Pattar, we head up the Imje Khola Valley to Island Peak, following the river. After passing the Lhotse and Imja glaciers we reach Island peak trek base camp before our climb up to Imja Tse (Island Peak 6189 m). IslThe views on the Island Peak trek are remarkable, with the whole of the Khumbu mountains spread out before you.

The Island Peak Trek is the most popular trekking peak in Nepal. From Dingboche the mountain is seen as an island in a sea of ice. The summit is interesting and attractive with a highly glaciated west face rising from the Lhotse Glacier. The mountain itself is the extension of the South Ridge of Lhotse Shar separated by a small col.The Island Peak Trek not only provides an enjoyable climb but also provides some of the most spectacular scenery of the Himalayas. Seen from the summit of Island peak, the giant mountains, Nuptse (7,879m), Lhotse (8,501m), Lhotse Middle Peak (8,410m) and Lhotse Shar (8,383m) make a semi circle in the north. The views of Makalu (8475m) in the east, Baruntse and Amadablam in the south are never to be forgotten. more

Trekking In Rolwaling

Between the Everest and Langtang regions is the stunning mid-Eastern range of the Himalayas; the Rolwaling valley. This is home to famous peaks such as Mount Ghauri Shankar (7134m), Dorje Lakpa, and many others. A few miles south of the Tibetan border, it is known as one of the seven hidden valleys in the Himalayas. This is a wild and barely explored district where legendary tales of the abominable snowman, known as the "Yeti", haunt the imagination of climbers. On the slope of Rolwaling Peak itself, the famous British mountaineer, Eric Shipton, first photographed Yeti footprints in 1951.
The trek starts from Dolakha, near Charikot, an eight-hour drive from Kathmandu. There is also the choice to continue your trek by crossing Tashi Lapcha (5755m). Technical mountaineering skills and equipment are required for this incredible adventure. Trekkers also will be enjoying beauty of Tsho-Rolpa, the largest Glacier Lake in Nepal and can continue on to the Khumbu region, which links to trek routes in the Everest region.
Another option is to trek to Na, a small Sherpa village, to trek back to Kathmandu. This trek requires a peak permit any of the following peaks: Ramdung, Yalung, and Pacharmo. Permits must be obtained from the Nepal Mountaineering Association through an associated member trekking company. Beyond the Limits Treks includes these arrangements in its service to clients.
High Light of this routes : Dolakha Bazar( A historical place), Beding Village, Tsho rolpa Lake( the biggest glacier lake in the world), Tashilapche Pass, Thame Village monastery. More
